About the artist

Billy Moore picked up a paintbrush seven years ago when his daughter, Lauren, then four, left out her Crayola paint set. He has been painting ever since. Moore has clients all over the world and travels throughout the Southeast, attending art festivals. His art hangs in numerous galleries and public places. He lives in Memphis, Tennessee.

"With my art there are no rules," said Moore, who likes to use recycled materials in his work. "I use house paints, acrylics, windows, tin, wood, bottle caps, and whatever else I can find. I use bold colors to create paintings that represent life in the South. All of the images come from my life experiences or imagination."
